Feature and Follow (12)

Here's this weeks question:

If you had a time machine (i.e. a TARDIS), where would you go?

Feature & Follow is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. The purpose is to meet new people and gain more followers in the book blogging community.

Hmm this is a hard one. The idea that I could easily screw something up by going into the past and vice versa for the future scares me. I recently read 'Gimme a Call' by Sarah Mlynowski which dealt with time travel in a loose context, and while the idea sounds promising, I feel like I learnt a lot from that book haha. I guess though maybe I would just go a few days into the future just to be on the safe side. Maybe find out what assignments I would be getting that week, so I could get a head start on them. Or maybe see if I'm going to have a bad day at work and take the day off that day. No way I could mess the world up too bad by doing that, is there??

What would you guys do if you had a time machine?

    1. Thanks for hopping by :) It was a pretty good book, not time travel in the strictest sense, but it was about being able to talk to your past self in order to change your future.

  3. New Follower. :) I'd love to travel to the Victorian Era and be allowed to wear fancy ball gowns. ^_^

    1. Omg, I love Victorian gowns. I must admit I'm a sucker for a beautiful dress, especially on the cover of a book as well :)

      Thanks for following!

  4. I'm always thinking that if one small thing hadn't happened my life would be very different right now. So, I think you're really brave travelling just a few days in time. Ha!

  6. I actually, stupidly, hadn't thought of the future but if you were to go a thousand years ahead there's no chance even someone as clumsy as me could do damage! I'm a new GFC follower! Thanks for sharing :) Hope you have a great weekend!

  9. Yes, I think that's always the worry with time travel (to the past) because who knows what little thing might set off a ripple effect for centuries to come? Despite that, I still chose to travel back into the past.

    1. It indeed seems to be one of the misfortunes associated with time traveling in almost all the movies/books about it.

  12. I don't want to go to the future. I want to be surprised of what's going ahead. Going back in time is a different story though.

  13. Don't see any harm in that. The lottery numbers would be good to check out as well. New GFC follower.

    1. Haha didn't even think of checking the lottery numbers, that would definitely come in handy although it does seem somewhat unethical lol
