Booktubeathon TBR

Ariel Bissett, along with some other book-tubers (Catriona, Jesse, Raeleen, Christine, Kat) are hosting this years booktubeathon. A week long read-a-thon created on youtube, but for everyone to participate in.
The official page for all the information can be found here. awesome thing about this readathon is that it's sponsored by Thebookdepository, and there are 100 books chosen by the hosts that you can get a 10% discount on, and who doesn't love a good discounted book :)

So there are 7 reading challenges that you can choose to try and complete over the course of the week, along with some video challenges. Below is the video outlining each of the challenges...

Personally I'm thinking of trying some of the video challenges as well, but just posting them in a blog format instead of in a video. But anyway without further ado, here are the books I am aiming to read to meet the challenges for the booktubeathon.

Read a Book with Pictures

BTOOOM Volumes 1 & 2 (Junya Inoue)

Start and Finish a Series

Anna #1 and #2 (Kendare Blake)

Read a Book with Red on the Cover

Girl of Nightmares (Kendare Blake)

A genre you have read least this year

Horror: Anna Dressed In Blood (Kendare Blake)

A Book someone else picks for you

Trouble (Non Pratt)
Picked by my partner because and I quote "there are sperms on the cover"
- yes he can be obscenely immature sometimes :P

A Book to Movie Adaptation

How I Live Now (Meg Rosoff)
I have already seen the movie, but I'm definitely keen to see it again!

Read 7 Books or 300 pages a day

Depending on how much time I get, I'll probably choose one of these.

Happy Reading :)

  1. Great Choices! I am participating in these challenges too and I am very excited. Recently, I read How I Live Now and loved it but I actually have not seen the movie before.
